Artist of the Day/ Kristin Chenowith

Kristin does such a wonderful job on this song, she is just as darling as the song, I love it.  Her singing and acting skills are so impressive, not to mention she's funny and beautiful to boot.

The first time I saw her was on the movie RV.  She was traveling around with her really hyperactive husband and two kids, who loved to sing.  I also saw her on Jay Leno once, dang funny...and very comfortable with the skin she's in.  Here's little bit more info about her....

Wikipedia says:   Kristin Chenoweth (born July 24, 1968) is an American singer, musical theatre, film, and television actress, and author. Some of her best-known roles have included her Tony Award winning role as Sally Brown in Broadway's You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, her role as Glinda in Broadway's Wicked, and her role as Annabeth Schott in television's The West Wing. She most recently appeared in the role of Olive Snook on the ABC dramedy Pushing Daisies for which she won the 2009 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy.[2] Chenoweth is also the face of Jude Frances jewelry.

Chenoweth has a distinctive speaking voice. In FHM's March 2006 issue, she compared her voice to that of Betty Boop.

Chenoweth is a classically trained coloratura soprano, and well known for her skilled singing technique and artistic interpretations. She has a vocal range of four octaves.[3] Chenoweth is able to sing the note "F6" (1396.913 Hz), also known as "F above High C".[4]

Huge fan! I loved her in Pushing Daisies. So sad they didn't pick it up another season. :( She did an awesome rendition of "Hopelessly Devoted" on that show!
She was also amazing in GLEE!
I wish I could've seen her playing in Wicked.

I love, love, love her! I fell in love with her a few years ago when she was in Wicked and came on Ellen. She told Ellen that she had to sing from her "YOO HOO"! I tell my kids that all the time now if they are singing in anything!
